Down in the CBD
0We went to town last night to show the way of God to the lost once again. I thought we would spend an hour or two and then head home to get ready for Saturday’s street ministry and Sunday. As soon as we arrived a slightly inebriated man grabbed my attention and began firing questions. Francis was somewhat educated about religions and enamoured with Buddha. I attempted to explain that God has nothing to do with all the man made religions and that faith in Jesus was the answer for all that was bothering him. We spoke for about 30min. and finally Francis became uncomfortable about his belief system and ran away, screaming as he went that love was the answer not God. Amazing that people want to separate God from love these days and then pretend that they love others, but it is simply lip service to the modern philosophy that love is “accepting everyone no matter what they do or say.” There were more conversations->
God is Working
0Thank you to everyone that is praying for these poor servants of the Great God! We were able to get Victoria away from her mum, she came to Bible Club and then she came home with us afterward. We were excited to hear that she had asked the Lord to save her!! Praise God!! Her dad Steve came to Wed. Bible study and returned on Sunday morning for service. This is looking good! Steve and Anna are going through a hard time, the Mormons are making it very difficult, I believe they will try to destroy this family. Please keep praying, God is Working!
Could Use Some Prayer
0The devil is working overtime and I could just use a little extra strength. The Mormons have this past week recruited Anna to their twisted perversion of a religion, and now the brightest spot of hope in Pukekohe has been taken from us. Anna will no longer let Victoria come to our church or Bible Club. For more than a year Victoria has been the best and brightest of our Bible Club scholars, she has been the most regular attender of our Wed. night Bible studies and she has been the closest friend to my daughters. Dawn Snyder: Missionary to the World
0I was very happy that the Lord provided the funds for Dawn to go see her sisters. Especially because it was the last time she will see her oldest sister Lori, and it was nearly the last time to see her youngest sister Paula. Here in Dawn’s own words are the highlights of her trip. Thank you to everyone that gives financially to support our family and ministry here in New Zealand, and a special thank you to those that made this trip possible. Bro. Ted Snyder And now my better half!
As I waved good-bye to my sweetheart and started to walk toward my gate I felt like a little girl holding back the tears, going off to school all by herself for the first time. Since our wedding I had never travelled to another state without Ted or a group of children. Though I left the house determined to use this entire trip for Jesus. I didn’t start out too well I didn’t want to talk to anyone! As I boarded the first plane to Sydney I was shy and afraid to talk. The plane was quite empty and I was in a row to myself. I opened my Bible and started to read the book of John. I prayed and asked God for boldness. (more…)
